Byjemdesigns Etsy Shop!
I have been in the planning community well over 3 years now I’m apart of a fair few groups on Facebook, Last month I decided to take part in a shop swap. At the time I had no idea who or which shop I would be swapping with as we do not ness get the same shop to swap with. The Etsy shop I got to shop at was Byjemdesigns a totally new shop to me! Byjemdesigns is owned and run by the lovely lady Julia, who ironically lives not far from me! Such a small world really.
Paid or free?
My review today is of my first ever order / £10 swap with Byjemdesigns which included just planner stickers. I must admit I had a really hard time choosing what I was going to order as Julia’s designs are lovely! She doesn’t just stock the regular planner stickers but also transparent stickers and many designs in vellum papers to use with planner and travelers notebooks too.
So I decided that with summer fast approaching us I would try out the “Just Beachy” mini kit priced at £6.25.
I absolutely love this kit, it is so bright and funky in real life, totally a tropical kit to use for the summer and being a mini kit there are just the right amount of stickers to use for a weekly spread. My order also came with a cute floral themed sampler free of charge.
Next up I tend to order Misfit/Opps bags from shops I haven’t purchased from before this gives me a chance to trial some of the shops “other” kinds of stickers so I went and picked up the Oppise Bag too.
For those who arn’t sure what Oppsie bags are, they’re basically stock that isn’t 100% perfect for regular sale at normal retail prices and are heavily discounted, sometimes they can be minor things from simple old stock which is 100% perfect to misaligned cuts but still perfectly usable, no cuts to print quality maybe off. I Byjemdesigns provides at least 7 sheets of stickers within there bags, I received 8! Including a full kit! The kit is called “Scalloping Seahorses” and is in her Glossy Paper range which enables me to try her gloss stickers out as apposed to matte in the other kit. I also received a yellow marble header sheet and some Little’s header sheet too. The kit was perfect I actually couldn’t tell if anything is wrong with it, the headers we’re just a little misaligned but still perfectly usable

My Personal Score
Each Shop Product I now review comes with a possible score of 100. This is determined on ten factors as below, you can find out HERE what the overall score means in my world.
Paper Quality (5 / 10)
My order was consisted of both Matte and Glossy Sticker paper which both were bright white.
Byjemdesign’s doesn’t use branded sticker paper it’s pure white on the reverse. The only reason I marked down is because I really dislike gloss, being a opps bag maybe buisness’s could seperate the types of paper.
Vibrancy of Colours / Print (8 / 10)
The stickers that I have received within my order are lovely and no faults in print.
Uniqueness of Clipart (5 / 10) Byjemdesigns do have an array of designs in the store however they do have alot of regular clipart which can be found in others, I do like this though because it enables me to mix and match with other shops kits.
Cost of order (7 / 10)
My order was partially a swap so I will rate based on if I was to pay full price based on the average opps/misfit prices I would rate an 7.
All the stickers products in the shop are various prices from £1.75 upwards depending on what your purchasing.
Processing and Shipping Times (4 / 10)
Byjemdesigns aims to process all orders within 1-2 Weeks, this means cutting and packing all the super cute stickers and then actually posting your order out to you. Obviously different things factor the length it takes to process orders so please always check Etsy for there latest shipping processing times.
I placed my order on the of 30th May 2018, it was dispatched on the 11th June 2018 (so 12 days processing total) and then I received it on the of 13th June 2018. Total number of days from ordering till my order was in my hands was 14 days, which is for a domestic UK order is within the time frame, slightly longer than some other shops but still in time frame.
Cut Lines (10 / 10)
I cannot fault the cut lines in any of the sheets that I received, they are 100% perfect.
Price of Postage and Packaging (7 / 10)
My order was received in a hard backed envelope to protect it from being bent and the stickers from being damaged. For my order I paid £1.05 postage which is pretty cheap!.
Presentation (8 / 10)
All my stickers were sealed inside the envelope in a clear cello bag which was sealed with the shops social media card which I think is a nice touch. All the sticker sheets were neatly together too.
Freebies/Rewards (8 / 10)
Byjemdesigns does send freebies with all orders as you can see in my first photo.
Seller/Shop Communication/About Me (8 / 10)
Julia is lovely, any questions or quires you may have feel free to contact her. If you can’t see something in her shop, just ask! Communication is fantastic and everything with my order was on-time and as expected from the moment I placed the order. Her shop about me section doesn’t have all that much information on but I’m sure if you contact her with any questions she’ll get back to you super quick!
Overall – 70/100. (See here for breakdown of my score chart)
Over all I’m thrilled with my Byjemdesigns order and will certainly be continuing to use this shop for future purchases, with a few tweeks I think her shop could be a winner!.
Thanks for stopping by today! I’d love to know what you think? Have you ordered from Byjemdesigns Before?
